The Choose Your Own Adventure feature allows supporters to customize their feeds by signing up for regional content, teams, or issues that are important to them.
In your action feed, you can ask your supporters a series of questions that will route them into different workflows. For example, you could ask them which county they live in or which groups or constituencies they belong to and then provide them with relevant actions to take or events to join. At the same time, you could ask them which issues or types of activities would be of interest to them to further personalize what content is presented to them.
First, you will need to create all the groups you want your supporters to be able to join. Read our Creating and Managing Groups FAQ for information on how to create your groups.
Then, go to your Actions page and create a new Supporter Forms Action. (Read our FAQ on building Supporter Forms Actions here.) When you build your form, create a group assignment question. The form builder will autofill the responses with your groups. Edit the question and responses to make sure your supporters will be added to the right groups.
When your supporters see the form in their feeds, they can click on it, answer the group assignment question according to their interests, and be added to the corresponding groups. Once they return to their feeds, they’ll see new, personalized content based on which groups they’re in.
