Here are answers to questions/concerns your supporters may have.
Why should I participate in Relational Organizing?
- Most people trust their friends more than a stranger. Research backs this as well; it shows that friends contacting a voter is 5-10x more effective in getting them to vote than a stranger.
- The messenger matters as much as the message itself.
- Leveraging existing contacts, relational organizing can lead to a higher contact rate than phone banking or cold calling.

- Relational organizing allows voters who are not on the voter file or whose information is incorrect to be contacted by friends.
Why should I join my campaign's OutreachCircle, rather than just reaching out to my friends on my own?
- Working as part of an OutreachCircle allows you to be a part of the campaign's overall plan, which means your efforts are contributing at the right time and in the right way to ensure the campaign reaches its goals.
- OutreachCircle makes it easy for you to stay informed and get involved in a number of ways: learning about the candidate, watching videos, completing tasks or sharing on social media

Can you help me use OutreachCircle?

What happens to my contact information?
- Your contacts are kept private to you. The campaign does not have access to any of your contacts’ information such as email or personal phone numbers.
- You can also delete your contacts at any time, if you desire.
Does the OutreachCircle application save my email provider (i.e. Gmail, Yahoo, etc) password?
- No, the password is never saved or stored. It is only used during the initial email contact import.
Who can contact my contacts?
- Only you can. You decide who to message, when to message them and what the message says.
- The campaign has no ability to directly message your contacts.
- OutreachCircle has a privacy policy that prohibits them from contacting any of your contacts. OutreachCircle will never share or sell your contact information with the campaign or any 3rd party.

- Sangeeth Peruri founded OutreachCircle after running for his local school board. He wanted to create a way for campaigns to reach voters friend-to-friend in a cost effective, efficient and personal manner.
Will the message to my friends come from me or from the campaign?
- The messages supporters’ send will come from the supporter and not the campaign.
- Supporters should edit the messages and make them personal before sending.
Will the message be sent from my email provider? Will it affect my SPAM ratings?
- The messages will look like they come from the supporter, but they will be sent through OutreachCircle.
- The supporters’ SPAM ratings will not be affected.
If a voter responds to a supporters’ message, where will the response go?
- A voter’s response will go directly to the supporter that sent the message. The responses will not be tracked by OutreachCircle or the campaign.
